The internet is at its best when it feels human. We build a small, focused product that makes it easy to meet someone new — and just as easy to leave when you want.
Safety first
We take safety seriously. Every session has a report button, we automatically filter profanity in text chat, and repeat offenders are banned. Users must confirm they are 18+ before entering any chat.
A note from the founder
Omingle is built and run by one person: me, a solo developer from Asia.
The idea goes back to 2018, when I was still in college. I loved the idea of a simple place where you could talk to someone completely new, someone from a different city or country, without profiles, followers or pressure. I started planning it back then, but personal issues got in the way, and the project stayed an idea for years.
Then Omegle shut down in November 2023. I kept noticing how many people were searching for an alternative. A lot of what they found were copycat sites full of bots, fake user counts and paywalls. In 2026 I finally had the opportunity to build the thing I'd been thinking about since college, and Omingle went live in September 2026.
I care a lot about people's safety and privacy. I want anyone to be able to connect, feel free to talk, make new friends, and forget about the stress of life for a while, without worrying about who's watching or what they're giving away.

An 18+ rule, a report button in every chat, automatic bans when several people report the same user, and immediate removal of anyone reported as a possible minor.
No signup, ever
No email, no phone number, no password. You open the site and start talking, and your identity stays yours.
Completely free
Text chat, video chat, interest matching and Companions are all free, with no paid filters or premium tier.
No more waiting alone
When nobody is online, you don't have to stare at a loading screen. Omingle Companions, our AI chat partners, are always there to talk while we look for a real person.
How we handle your privacy
Privacy isn't a feature we bolted on. It's why Omingle has no accounts in the first place. Messages between people are relayed in real time and never stored. Video travels peer-to-peer, so your camera feed never passes through our servers. We keep only what we need to run the service and stop abuse, like basic session times and the reports people file, and those are deleted automatically after a set period.
